One ball closer.

Follow Leo's progress as he builds his business, one order at a time.

A black Porsche 911 GT3 RS with blue and lime stripes and the number 12 on the door

The actual goal

A Porsche 911 GT3 RS, bought and paid for by the time Leo is 19. That gives him seven years, starting with a bin of golf balls and a business he runs himself. It is a long way off and he knows it -- that is rather the point. Every pack sold, every cost recorded and every mistake fixed is practice for something bigger than golf balls.

A GT3 RS in Leo's colours. Not his yet.

What this number is

Golf-ball sales after discounts, plus voluntary tips, on orders that were actually paid for. Refunds and chargebacks come back off it.

What it is not

  • Not money in a savings account. It is revenue generated.
  • Not profit. Shipping, packing and fees come out of it.
  • Tax, shipping charges, gift-card purchases and unpaid orders are all excluded.

No golf balls required. Every dollar counts toward the total above, the same as a sale does.

How much?

This is a tip, not a charitable donation. It is not tax deductible and it does not earn a reward or a gift. It goes toward the GT3 total.
